Biewer Yorkies are a rare breed, developed in the early 1980s by a German couple.  The Breed is named after them.  The pronunciation of biewer sounds like beaver.  Every thing in the Yorkie section of this web site applies to biewer yorkies.  The accepted colors for the biewer Yorkie is black, brown, blue, gold and white, or also known as parti-colored.

 This fun-loving dog makes a great lap dog.
